CARPENTER € 46,644 / Annum Employment Type Permanent | Full Time Description CARPENTER Company: Young’s Forge Limited Location: Ballynorig East, Causeway, County Kerry Eircode: V92 T3P9 Vacancies: 2 Positions Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: €46,644.00 per annum Job Summary We require two qualified and experienced Carpenters to join our team working on residential, commercial and renovation projects across the region. Main Duties • Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and technical specifications • Measure, cut, shape, fit and install timber and materials for structural work, roofing, flooring and joinery • Construct and erect timber frames, partitions, roof trusses, staircases, doors and window frames • Prepare and install formwork and temporary support structures • Install insulation, membranes and finishes in line with building regulations • Operate and maintain all carpentry tools and machinery safely • Ensure all work meets quality standards, building regulations and safety requirements Requirements • Diploma in Carpentry & Joinery or related vocational qualification • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working as a qualified carpenter • Ability to read and understand technical plans and specifications • Good knowledge of timber properties, construction methods and materials • Competent use of all relevant hand and power tools • High standard of workmanship and attention to detail Hours: 39 hours per week Career level: Experienced [Non-Managerial] Closing date: 27 May 2026
