Chef de Partie

The Salthill Hotel is looking for a Chef de Partie who will work closely with the Head chef and the kitchen team aiding in food preparation and food service for a busy hotel. The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy kitchen. You will have an understanding of fresh ingredients and the importance of a positive guest dining experience as well as be flexible to the changing needs of a business. Summary of key activities Preparation of fresh food and plating of good standards Maintaining high levels of quality Take directions from the Head Chef Making sure stock is rotated Making sure HACCP is filled and up to date on each shift Experience and skills Minimum of 2-3 years' kitchen experience Ability to work under pressure Passionate and Enthusiastic about food Experience in a similar role, ideally 2-3 years Experience in Stock Control Procedures Applicant must have a good command of the English language.
