Dairy Farm Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dairy Farm Assistant to support the daily operations of a dairy farm. The role involves assisting with livestock care, milking, and general farm maintenance to ensure the smooth running of the farm and high standards of animal welfare. Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily milking operations and herd management. Monitor animal health and report any issues promptly. Feeding, bedding, and general care of livestock. Maintain cleanliness of milking parlour, housing, and equipment. Support seasonal tasks such as calving, silage, and grassland management. Carry out general farm maintenance as required. Requirements: Previous farm or livestock handling experience preferred (training can be provided). Strong work ethic with willingness to learn and adapt. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and during busy seasonal periods. Driving license and tractor experience an advantage.
