Monasterevin Motors T/A Toyota Naas, representing Ireland’s #1 car brand along with a robust LCV business, has achieved substantial growth and we now have a very exciting new opportunity for a General Manager to join this dynamic, vibrant and progressive team. Job Function Summary Set an example for the team in terms of work ethic, communication, leadership and personal behaviour. Responsibility for the site and presentation standards throughout the organisation. Ensure optimum standards are maintained in all aspects of the business with a particular emphasis on employee and customer experience. Create and nurture a performance driven environment. Lead and manage the senior management team to ensure maximum efficiency, profitability and clear communication. Manage performance of financial, commercial and operational challenges and targets for all areas of the business along with the timely reporting of same. Ensure the organisation structure is fit-for-purpose and manage the recruitment, onboarding, personnel training and development along with individual performance management throughout the business. Undertake collaboration and communication in a timely and concise manner with Group Directors and Senior Managers. Implement best practice standards in health and safety (including compliance with all legal obligations) and employee wellbeing. Take leadership of a process to review all channels of customer feedback so that shortcomings are identified and corrective SMART action plans are implemented and strengths are highlighted and communicated. Be an exemplary ambassador for Toyota Naas and seek to enhance the reputation of the business at every opportunity. Ensure adherence to all mandatory manufacturer standards in all aspects of the business. Experience and qualiications required - Minimum 5 years experience within a General Manager/Dealer Principal role within a franchise dealer. Excellent leadership, communication and performance management skills, especially in a pressurised environment. Planning and organising skills. A flexible and adaptable approach. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Business and financial acumen. Experience in the areas of talent acquisition, retention and staff development. Experience in maintaining exemplary customer relations. IT skills continuously developed as required by the role. Proven ability to manage major projects. Experience and knowledge of modern business methods and financial control. Skills in using this knowledge in a practical way. Relevant and up-to-date knowledge of vehicle trends, consumer and vehicle legislation, industry and trade practices. Analytical and critical thinking skills. Proactive approach to developing, implementing and maintaining best practice systems and processes. Hours: 39 hours per week Career level: Senior Executive Closing date: 29 May 2026
