Wundore Limited t/a DiFontaine’s Pizzeria is seeking to recruit a skilled and experienced Head Chef to assume full responsibility for kitchen leadership, culinary production oversight, and regulatory compliance within our established Dublin-based artisan restaurant located 22 Parliament Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2. 39hrs per week €36,605 per annum (Full-Time) Contract Type: Permanent This role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior chef or kitchen leadership position. Key Responsibilities: Assume full responsibility for day-to-day kitchen management and operational oversight Plan and supervise daily food production and preparation schedules Oversee dough production processes, fermentation cycles, and baking operations Lead, supervise, and train kitchen staff to maintain structured workflow Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety legislation Manage supplier coordination, procurement, stock control and cost management Monitor quality assurance and maintain consistency in food standards Implement kitchen organisation systems and performance standards Coordinate with management regarding operational planning and service execution Essential Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior chef or Head Chef role Demonstrated experience managing kitchen operations and supervising staff Strong knowledge of HACCP compliance and food safety systems Experience overseeing structured food production processes Proven leadership, organisational, and decision-making ability
