Health Care Assistant

Job Description & Skills Required This position will require the candidate to provide a high standard of physical social psychological and emotional care to people that require 24 hour nursing care. The person will use role modelling to ensure high standards of care are maintained by the Health care assistant team. This is a very good opportunity to further your training and development. The successful candidate must be kind and compassionate and good problem solving abilities. The duties will involve: To plan and implement a high standard of social psychological physical and emotional care To work effectively as part of a well developed team To develop positive relationships with residents and colleagues To follow daily allocations by the management teams To comply with organisational policies QQI/FETAC qualification in Health Care Support or equivalent e.g a nursing degree. Or relative experience in a similar environment. Previous nursing home or Hospital experience preferable. Have a good level of English language skills.
