Health Care Assistants

Position: Health Care Assistant. Requirement: You must have QQI level 5 in a HealthCare course completed or be willing to complete the QQI level 5 in a HealthCare course while working within 2 years. Contract: 2 years. Weekly hours: 39 hours - these hours are basic weekly hours over-time on top is optional. Annual salary: € 32,853.60 Hourly Rate: € 16.20 Per Hour. Location: Unit 2.1 Enniscorthy Enterprise & Technology Center, Milehouse Road, Bellefield, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. Y21 D8W6. Job Description: You will have to perform these tasks: Making beds. Helping Patient/Clients With personal care. Monitoring and reporting their condition. Serving meals and Assisting With Nutrition. Assisting Patients/Clients when they want to move around. Cleaning of equipment and disinfecting. Duties include assisting residents and clients with direct care and all aspects of daily living. Getting to know the resident's interests and needs, and contributing to maintaining a safe environment. Assisting Patient/Clients with Grooming and Dressing. The role requires good communication skills and the ability to work well independently, or as part of a team, with a pleasant respectful manner, and a desire to enhance the lives of our Clients.
