Healthcare Assistant

Brampton Care and Rehabilitation are delighted to announce due to recent expansion we are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join us on a full-time permanent basis. Brampton Care and Rehabilitation have two designated floors to gerontology with one specializing in Dementia Care. We are looking for healthcare assistants who are keen to work in gerontology. We are the only CARF accredited facility on the west of Ireland. Brampton care and Rehabilitation is located in Oranmore which is approx. 10 min from Galway city centre. If you are looking to take the next step in your career and would like to work in a supportive and caring environment then we are for you Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Providing the highest level of care and service to residents and upholding best practice in relation to daily activities. Completing necessary documentation to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed. Working to quality standards set out by the company and related professional bodies. Sustaining high level of communication between resident’s family and staff, developing & maintaining good relationships Assisting in the upkeep of high standards of cleanliness in the home Contributing to the maintenance of Health and Safety in the home Any other duties deemed necessary by Nurse in Charge and management. Salary: 32691 Euros/Annual 39 Hrs/week Job Location: Brampton Care Home, Main Street, Oranmore Co Galway. Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time. Number Of Positions: 7 Job Requirements: QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare, Nursing or equivalent . Previous nursing home or similar healthcare experience is an advantage Strong communication and teamwork skills with high attention to detail.
