HGV Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Mechanic to join out team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of a varied range of heavy goods vehicles and in particular, Trailers, ensuring all vehicles are kept in safe and roadworthy condition. Key responsibilities: * Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and inspections on HGV Lorries and Trailers * Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults * Perform preventative maintenance to minimise downtime * Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety regulations * Maintain accurate service and repair records Requirements: * Relevant qualification or experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship What we Offer: - 40hrs per week - Rate of pay negotiable, depending on experience - Overtime may be available - Stable, long-term employment with a growing business Hours: 40 hours per week Career level: Experienced [Non-Managerial] Closing date: 12 May 2026
