Job Title: HRIS & Data Advisor Employer Name: Brown Thomas Arnotts Location of work: 88-95 Grafton Street, Dublin 2 Job Description The HRIS & Data Advisor is responsible for managing, analysing, and maintaining employee data within the organisation’s Core HR system. The role ensures data accuracy, supports HR reporting & analytics, improves HR system processes, and enables data-driven decision making. This role works closely with HR, Payroll and Finance, to maintain high-quality HR data and deliver meaningful workforce insights. Key Responsibilities HRIS and Systems Management Maintain and administer HR systems including People XD, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity and timely updates Manage user access, permissions, and system configurations Provide Training to managers on system usage, processes, and best practice Contribute to HRIS-related projects, system enhancements, and process improvements ________________________________________ Payroll Operations Support Support end-to-end payroll processes across multiple business units Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies Ensure accurate processing of payroll inputs including hours worked, commissions, and employee changes ________________________________________ Employee Lifecycle Administration Manage employee data changes including onboarding, offboarding, contractual updates, compensation changes, and leave management Ensure accurate, timely maintenance of employee records in HR systems Maintain compliance with internal policies and data governance standards ________________________________________ Workforce Reporting & Data Analysis Generate and deliver regular workforce reports covering hours worked, labour costs, attendance trends, and operational metrics Analyse HR data using tools such as Tableau and Excel to support decision-making Support ad hoc reporting & dashboard development ________________________________________ Data Governance and Compliance Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy across employee records, cost centres, and system inputs Maintain data integrity across HR systems & ensure alignment between platforms Support compliance reporting and ensure adherence to organisational standards Person Specification Experience supporting, maintaining, or administering HR systems such as Core HR, or similar HRIS platforms. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel essential. Experience using reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms. Demonstrated experience analysing HR data to support business decisions, workforce planning, or HR reporting. Experience producing HR dashboards, reports, & data visualisations for stakeholders. Provision of technical or data support to HR users. Experience handling sensitive employee data in compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
