Mig Welder / Fabricator

Due to ongoing expansion Metaltech Engineering are looking for an experienced and skilled welder / fabricator to join our team. This is a permanent role working 39 hours per week Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a wide variety of fabricated parts and assemblies for various different market sectors in accordance with our company ISO & EN1090 quality system Qualifications & Experience - A minimum of 5 years experience as a qualified welder / fabricator in a manufacturing environment - Experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings - Previous experience working in steel fabrication / sheet metal sectors an advantage Overview Of Responsibilities - Review engineering drawings and liaise with production manager to agree job requirements - Ensure adherence to ISO & EN1090 factory production control system - Working to strict job completion dates Skills & Requirements - Good interpersonal, planning & organisational skills - A good communicator - A creative thinker with their own ideas on how to improve production efficiency Ongoing learning and development opportunities will be made available Hours: 39 hours per week Career level: Experienced [Non-Managerial] Closing date: 26 May 2026
