Night Porter

Lough Rynn Castle Estate & Gardens are seeking an experienced and dedicated Night Porter to conduct hotel operations during the night shift. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who values guest experience, security, and attention to detail. As a Night Porter, you will be the primary point of contact for guests overnight, ensuring a seamless stay while maintaining the security and cleanliness of the hotel. Key Responsibilities: Take full responsibility for the safety and security of the hotel and its guests during the night shift. Provide a warm and professional welcome to late arrivals and assist with check-ins and check-outs. Handle guest requests efficiently, including luggage assistance and concierge services. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the hotel. Set up function rooms and the breakfast area as per the nightly checklist. Ensure the hotel entrance and exterior are clean and well-presented at all times. Stay fully trained and prepared in fire safety and emergency procedures to protect guests and staff. Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Work flexibly, adapting to different shift patterns as needed. Uphold data protection and confidentiality policies at all times. Report any safety hazards, near misses, or incidents immediately. What We're Looking For: A background in hospitality is preferred. Strong IT proficiency and ability to handle booking systems. Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills. A proactive, self-motivated individual with high attention to detail.
