Procurement Officer K O’Connell Fish Merchants 13–20 English Market, Cork, T12 FDH5 We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to oversee purchasing activities across our seafood business. The role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, coordinating stock across multiple locations, and ensuring cost-effective and compliant procurement. Responsibilities include managing seafood purchasing, coordinating logistics between retail sites and the production facility, monitoring market trends, maintaining traceability records, and supporting management with reporting and cost analysis. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain, with strong supplier management and negotiation skills. The role requires excellent organisational and communication abilities, with experience in food or perishable goods considered an advantage.
