CANDY CLOUD AMERICAN SWEETS LIMITED is expanding its operations and is seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Control Associate to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented Person to contribute to maintaining the highest standards of product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance across our range of candy, sweets, vape-related products, and specialty drinks, while building a rewarding career in a dynamic retail and distribution environment. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct routine quality inspections on candy, sweets, specialty drinks, and vape-related products to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. • Monitor incoming stock and verify product quality, labelling, packaging integrity, and expiry dates. • Implement and maintain food safety and hygiene procedures in line with HACCP principles and relevant compliance standards. • Perform quality checks during receiving, storage, handling, and merchandising of products. • Identify, document, and report quality issues, product defects, or non-conformances and support corrective actions. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, product traceability, and stock rotation procedures. • Assist in maintaining accurate quality control records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation. • Work closely with management and staff to improve product quality standards and operational procedures. • Assist in training staff on quality standards, hygiene practices, and product handling procedures. Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, food safety, food production, retail compliance, or a related field. • Industry standard accreditation/certificate will be an advantage. • Knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and quality assurance procedures. • Strong attention to detail with good inspection, reporting, and analytical skills. • Ability to identify product defects and implement corrective actions effectively. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. • Bilingual (Urdu / Punjabi / English). • Must hold a Right to work in Ireland.
