Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer 📍Castlebar, Co. Mayo At Multi-Color Corporation, Castlebar (MCC) we are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Quality Engineer to join our team on a Fixed-Term Contract. This position is on a day shift pattern, Monday to Thursday 08.30 - 17.00 and Friday 08.30 - 16.00. Key Responsibilities Include: The Quality Engineer will provide direct support on quality and compliance to all internal departments while maintaining the QMS as per notified standards (BSI, IDO, PS), developing and documenting the CAPA, NC and SCAR quality management systems, assuring manufacturing platforms are operating within customer specifications, KPI data collection and reporting, analysing customer returns with aims to reduce return rates, calculating internal and external COPQ and maintaining records, supporting true problem solving by using tools such as DMAIC, 5 Whys, 4W & 1H, supporting site Quality Technicians, responding to customer quality requests and escalations and participating in new product developments. Requirements: Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A degree in business/quality management/manufacturing engineering and previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
