Renewable O&M Technician

We are looking for a Technician in our company Eiffage Energia Ireland with experience in electrical maintenance, substation operation, and photovoltaic generation systems. The selected candidate will perform diagnostic tasks, preventive/corrective maintenance, and supervision of medium- and high-voltage electrical equipment, as well as provide support in the operational and documentation management of wind farms or energy plants. What will your responsibilities be? Preventive and corrective maintenance of: Electrical substations Transformers Medium-voltage switchgear and panels Switching equipment and electrical protections Weather stations PPC Inverters Modules Interpretation of alarms and notifications from the SCADA system Operation and maintenance of 20 kV transmission lines Support for the operation and maintenance of photovoltaic installations Preparation of technical reports and logging of maintenance activities Teamwork and coordination with suppliers and contractors Required education: Higher education in Electricity or Electromechanics Specialization in Wind / Photovoltaic Energy GWO BST certification Valuable technical skills Experience with SCADA systems Experience with Dataloggers Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience in renewable energy plant maintenance Minimum experience: 3–5 years in industrial electrical maintenance, renewables, or substations Previous experience in wind farms or photovoltaic plants Experience in operating high-voltage transmission lines Hours: 40 hours per week Career level: Professional Closing date: 12 May 2026
