Window Fitter

David McCartan is looking for a full-time Window Fitter to join our team. Responsible for examining drawings and specifications to determine job requirements; removing existing window and door units and preparing openings for installation; fitting and installing pre-glazed window and door frames; ensuring units are level, secure and properly aligned; sealing frames using appropriate materials to ensure insulation and weatherproofing; carrying out finishing work, including trimming and sealing; and repairing or replacing damaged window units where required. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing and fitting window and door units. They should be able to read technical drawings, prepare openings, and ensure accurate alignment and secure installation. The candidate should be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team on residential or small commercial projects. A positive ‘can do’ attitude and an enthusiasm for providing exceptional service to meet the needs of the company is required. Rochestown, Ballymitty, Co.
